During his earlier career Christian worked in correspondent lending where he broadened his knowledge and built a valuable network of associates. He later founded Magnum Opus as a vessel to his vision of pioneering innovative mortgage products that provide tailored residential financial solutions.

Furthermore, as a principal to Magnum Opus Development, Mr. Best is progressively in acquisition of homes in need of rehabilitation, with the aim to build a portfolio of refurbished homes that will help restore under-served Philadelphia communities. He furthers his efforts to support and nurture his community by investing in historically underfunded minority businesses with the vision to empower and inspire economic growth.

Respected as a leader in the African American community, Christian partakes in philanthropic endeavors to advance people of color. Mr. Christian Best strongly believes in leading by example to pave a way that will accommodate countless others. His tremendous support for local charities and organizations such as the Nehemiah Davis Foundation, Big Brother Big Sister, and Each One Reach One underscores this mission. Mr. Best graduated from the University of Delaware with a degree in Finance and has since worked by a standard he advocates proudly, “develop a craft, work hard at what you love and success is bound to happen””. As a role model and mentor to young African American men, he maintains his obligation to inspire self-belief and demonstrate that hard-work and determination will consistently yield profitable results.
